Day 11

8/8 - Valley

Apparently I can't count. In my previous post I should have said day ten. Today is day eleven. Numbers are hard!

Today was a two hour seminar in which we were shown a few techniques every 10-15min or so, and then largely left to our own devices. Most of the focus was on the guys who were testing for their purple later this month. I did learn a good a finish for the omoplata, so there was something gained. No rolling, which bummed me out.

I'm taking a week of vacation next week and trying to decide how much I want BJJ to play a part in my time off. I'm not going anywhere, although I'll probably go on some motorcycle day trips and a hike or two. Will probably play it by ear and see how it timing shakes out.
